Authentic Moldovan cuisine. Wonderfully prepared and great service. We also enjoyed a glass of Moldovian Pinot Grigio, very good! Definitely a stop in Fairbanks!

I love Eastern European cuisine, and this was outstanding! As hard as it was, I had to narrow down my choices here- everything sounded so good. I decided to order a few different things that I'd never tried before.

All I can say is, WOW... never had Moldovan food before. Whatever it is, this place does it right. Absolutely delicious. Their pork dishes are tender, flavorful, and filling. Soups are obviously homemade, and have love in every ingredient. Highly recommend.

Moldavan food in fairbanks. yes. and absolutely delicious. samale, is a traditional cabbage dish stuffed with rice and pork. these were tender, mildly spicy. mamaliga is another traditional polenta served with stewed pork, feta cheese, scrambled eggs, sour cream, and garlic.

Great and delicious food !! Soups, deserts main dishes, absolutely great service and amazing atmosphere. We are planing on coming back soon !! Congratulations SOBA !!!

Such a great find! The best Eastern European food in Alaska. Wonderful decor, strong menu and lovely owners and employees. A must stop while in Fairbanks. I went twice, pre and post Arctic Circle trip. A real treat all around!

So delicious! Ordered delivery for dinner tonight. It arrived before the scheduled time, hot and delicious! The stuffed mushrooms are huge, like a full meal themselves. We also had the Coltunasi Cu Cartofi and Pelmeni, both excellent!

Completely enjoyed the experience and the piano music!! The potato croquettes are delicious but I really recommend the Portobello mushrooms as an appetizer, but together even better!!

This restaurant deserves all the praise, and more! The Borsh soup is so good, I could have had a big bowl of that for my whole meal! I'm glad I didn't though, because I enjoyed the cabbage rolls just as much! We were lucky enough to meet the owner, who is making her Grandma's recipes.

Omg if you're in Fairbanks looking for something unique and different from fish and chips, check out Soba! Moldovan food that's so comforting and delicious. We had a beautiful Moldovan rosé with the Mamaglia and Beef dumpling special. It was busy but worth the wait. No wonder such high reviews.

Family friendly!!!! This is truly a family restaurant. There's a small play area off to the side for the kids and the staff are very accommodating to the little ones!!! I cannot rave about the food, service or environment enough. Perfect for lunch or dinner.

This was hands down my best Fairbanks experience. Soba is super authentic with great Eastern European, Moldovan food. It’s a special cultural experience to eat there, please support them!

Hidden gem in Fairbanks The pierogies are amazing! Don’t think about the menu. Just pick and eat with a great glass of Moldavian vino. Great Moldovan food in Alaska. Who knew? They did and it works.

Great unique experience downtown Lovely owners and good food downtown. The beef ribs were really good and the Bors as well. My friends really enjoyed the dumplings. Good, home cooked style food. Recommended for something different in fairbanks
